The company developed its product originally using coffee grounds collected in local coffee shops in Berlin as well as raw material usually discarded or composted during coffee production process. This could be the home for 20 million tons of waste coffee production threw away each year.
The cups are lightweight and durable. They can survive dishwashers. The dark wood colored cups have a unique rich texture giving it a vintage look. It is available for less than 20 Euros each.
