With this flight simulator you will never crash your drone again

Nowadays, it seems like everyone has a drone. Whether you are a photographer, videographer, stunt pilot, or a recreational flyer, there is one thing that all drone pilots have in common – the fear of crashing their expensive craft.

This is where popular drone brand DJI’s DJI Flight Simulator software comes in. The simulator is based on professional pilot training software and uses leading flight control technology to realistically recreate the natural drone flying experience.

The software was designed to allow drone pilots to hone their flying skills without the risks and costs that are associated with actual drone flight training.

The software developers worked to create an extremely realistic drone flying experience. For example, the simulation creates wind effects and ground effects that train you how to maneuver at any altitude – high in the sky or hovering right above the ground.

The software creates a flying experience that is so realistic that it even simulates drone crashes.

Within the simulator are a variety of modules that are designed to improve every drone piloting skill. These include basic flight tutorials, hovering and flight route training, and practice tests.

In addition, the software includes application training that prepares operators for specific tasks including search and rescue missions and power line inspections.

When piloting in the simulator, you can choose between five different drone views including pilot first person POV, remote control view, drone first person POV, drone follow view and third person POV.

The software simulates a wide variety of DJI’s drone including models from the Mavic Series, Phantom Series, Inspire Series, and the Matrice 200 Series.

Although this simulation software is nowhere near as fun as flying a real drone, it is certainly better to crash a simulated drone compared to a $1000+ drone.
